Oh, Glen. This show is probably out of our usual demographic, but I couldn't not (oh no, double negative!) tell you about Glen Campbell coming to the Grove of Anaheim on July 17. He's not just a County Music Hall of Famer, he's also a longtime resident of my hometown, Phoenix–why, one of his biggest hits is even called “By the Time to Phoenix”! Plus, there was that time he was arrested of drunk driving in 2003, at the still-rowdy age of 67. Right before he was released, he even performed a concert for the inmates of the Maricopa County jail he was in. That was pretty cool. I guess.
He's promoting his Greatest Hits, released last month. Yes, “Rhinestone Cowboy” is on it. Tickets are on sale this Friday at noon, ranging between 35 and 55 smackeroonies.
