Sure, The Streets (nNe Mike Skinner) hasn't made as much of a splash in the latter-half of the decade as he did in the first, but there's no denying that Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come For Free were fantastic records (“Dry Your Eyes” is like the best British white boy hip hop lost love ballad of all time, yo). And he's continuing to push things forward, what with Everything Is Borrowed hitting last year and another album scheduled for 2010.
And he's coming to the Glass House in Pomona, too! Oct. 14, tickets are on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. for $21. And there's more neat stuff coming to the Glass House, and the Fox Theater across the street, too.
