Yeah, this is an LA event, but come on. It's worth the trip.
The cast of FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, one of the very funniest shows on television since its debut in the summer of 2005, are going on a six-date tour of major American cities, wrapping up at the Hollywood Palladium on September 25. They'll be performing–in its entirety!–the “Nightman Cometh” musical, which we saw hints of in the season four finale (“you got to pay the troll toll if you want this boy's soul.”)
Yeah, that episode wasn't quite as funny as much of the rest of the series (“Here's the thing about cancer…I don't have it;” “WILDCARD, BITCHES!”) but it was still pretty good, and a nice callback to the Dayman/Nightman stuff from season three. They'll all be there, too–the original four, Danny DeVito and even The Waitress and Artemis. Sort of a weird choice for a comedy show, maybe, being a standing-room only venue and all, but that won't stop fans, nor masters of karate or friendship.
