What? A punk show at a church? If you thought that sort of thing was strictly an East Coast happening, think again because Los Angeles' Bad Reaction and San Diego's Gross Negligence are hitting the Unity Church in Long Beach on Saturday night.
]
And if seeing hardcore punk inside a church wasn't enough for you to
bust out the glue and spike your 'hawk, Bad Reaction claims this is its
final show ever. That is, of course, until they reunite, which I'm
convinced all bands do.
Also on the bill is Gestapo Khazi and Knives, who, unlike Bad Reaction, is playing its first show ever. Now you have no excuse not to go.
Because
the show is at a church, bands begin at 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. As
much as I'm an old fart who don't give two shits about all ages shows
anymore, I can really get behind the “start at 5 and end at 10”
mentality. More time to hit the bars afterward.
