Though as you can see from the image to the left, spelling might not be the Continental Room in Fullerton's strong suit, they're still reliable when it comes to putting on a good show. Especially on an eerily quiet night like this, when there really doesn't seem to be much else going on (what's up with this week?).
Every Wednesday night this month at the venue is Elvis-themed, and the entertainment tonight comes from Long Beach's Crown City Bombers, an Elvis Presley–and others, their MySpace has a cover of “Jackson,” made famous by Johnny and June Carter Cash–tribute band.
Even if your thoughts on the King lay closer with say, Chuck D (“Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant shit to me”), it could still make for a worthwhile evening–and ends it at 9:30, so plenty of time to make it home and watch Lost on your DVR. A win-win!
