Last night in Viva Las Vegas, the who’s who of music stars came out in droves to check out the Billboard Music Awards. Hosted by Ludacris and Ciara, we watched along from home to see performances by Britney Spears, Shawn Mendes, Celine Dion, Pink, Kesha, DNCE, Rhianna, Bieber, and even a (less than impressive) duet by Blake and Gwen. Oh, and against any obvious better judgment, Madonna payed “tribute” to Prince (who must be churning in his ashes right now because, oy vey. R.I.P).
So while lucky nominees won and loser nominees were just “honored to be there,” we sat on our comfy couches and watched everyone straight up win on Twitter. Because really, no one needed to watch lip-synced tunes and awards given to “who the fuck is that” when Twitter was there to give us the hilarious Cliff Notes version.
