Beloved Marvel mutants The X-Men have a new film, X-Men: First Class, coming out June 3. I'm an unapologetic fanboy when it comes to the comic books and movies. I figured the third film, mis-directed by Hollywood Entrepreneur of Shlock Brett Ratner and the rambling Wolverine origin pic in 2009–both guilty pleasures–gutted the franchise, but I happily discovered today that I was wrong.

The new film is a retro prequel that goes back to the '60s to track the friendship and eventual separation of Professor X (played by James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender).
Directed by Matthew Vaughn of Kickass fame and produced by Bryan Singer, the director of the first two movies, the accompanying trailer (see below) looks to recapture what made the initial movies and comics so endearing. It certainly made me all moist and squishy.
