I think I said this two weeks ago when I wrote about Irvine's Restaurant Week: January and February are usually the slowest months for restaurants, which is why most of the restaurant week bargains tend to occur right about now.

Now, it's Newport Beach's turn. And theirs is going on, like, right now. Yes. Right. Now.
And it lasts until Sunday, which is nice. Since it started Friday, Jan. 17, it can conceivably be called Newport Beach Restaurant Week and Two Days.
More than 60 restaurants are participating, offering three-course prix-fixe dinner menus for either $20, $30 or $40 per person and/or two-course prix-fixe lunch menus for either $10, $15 or $20 per person.
Best of all, the website, unlike Irvine's, is organized really, really well. There are icons that easily shows who's offering what price point and when.
