Walt Disney Studios has just released new images from Tron Legacy, the 3D sequel to the 1982 classic, Tron. With a release date of December 17, 2010, Tron Legacy promises two returning cast member from the original film: Tron Legacy is produced by Steve Lisberger, who co-wrote and directed the original Tron and Jeff Bridges is also reprising his role as Kevin Flynn. The film soundtrack features music composed by Daft Punk.
The film synopsis: Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
