Back in our Summer Guide, I previewed the forthcoming Simpsons movie action-figure set titled “Doodle Double Dare.”
Jokes about sexual harassment were inevitable, and there's a certain discomfort that comes with seeing a toy of a naked child, even with a strategically placed leaf. (Don't get me started on those “Love Is . . . ” comics.)
Well, the Simpsons movie figures are now out in stores . . . except for that one.
A look at McFarlane Toys' new release schedule shows no mention of it. Did my bad jokes have something to do with it? Or did they finally figure out that the toy might attract a disturbing sort of clientele?
