Too soon, Monday, too soon! What did you miss out on this weekend? We hit up a few places: Tustin, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa and even slightly-out-of-jurisdiction Pomona and–gasp–Los Angeles for some way worthy events.
First up: On Sunday night, a bunch of kids on wheels invaded the Glass House in Pomona for the Down N Derby–that's right, a roller disco party! They were all dressed appropriately, of course, in tube socks and track shorts aplenty! See the awesome photographs here.

Electro rock duo the Big Pink visited Costa Mesa's Detroit Bar on Friday night, along with their very, very impressive lighting setup. Long Beach's very own Crystal Antlers and Los Angeles' IO Echo provided support. See the full slideshow right here.
And then horror punkers the Misfits played at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana on Friday night. Their legion of fans followed, of course, for a sold-out night of favorites. On Saturday afternoon, the Auld Dubliner in Tustin
attempted to pour the world's tallest Guinness at eight feet tall, 400
gallons (and 588,000 calories). Good news: Record totally achieved! Better

Created by Dangerbird Records' co-founder Jeff Castlelaz, the Pablove Foundation helps the fight against children's cancer nationally and locally at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Pablo, the son of Jeff and Jo Ann Castelaz, was diagnosed with the rare Wilm's Tumor and unfortantely lost the fight this past summer. After Pablo's death, Jeff traveled from Florida back to California on a road bike on Pablove Across America and met and was joined by many parents, riders, all in the name of fighting the good fight against pediatric cancer.
