Holy whiskers, a dude from Duck Dynasty tried to rob a Mission Viejo bank Thursday morning!
]
Check that: Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock corrects that it was actually Raymond Edward Feiner in a beard. Here's what he really looks like at left.
Deputies were sent to the Wells Fargo Bank at 26151 La Paz Road just after 10 a.m. for a bank robbery in progress. A man in a blue skull cap, sunglasses and fake gray beard pushed a message on lined yellow note paper against the teller window informing that the bank was being robbed.
As deputies arrived, a witness who had followed the robber out of the bank alerted them that the baddie had gotten behind the wheel of a nearby white Ford pick-up truck, Hallock said.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was taken into custody without incident or injury. He was identified as 58-year-old San Clemente resident Feiner, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and booked into Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and pending a Monday court appearance.
But Orange County Bank Robbery Apprehension Team investigators will be working the case over the weekend in case more criminal counts can be added as they suspect Feiner is also responsible for an attempted robbery at the Chase Bank on Crown Valley Parkway in Mission Viejo 40 minutes prior the Duck Dynasty reigned at the Wells.
