KKK Party Bags Left on 40 Santa Ana Driveways

A Santa Ana resident found a zip-lock baggy on his driveway this morning that contained a rock, candy, a flier with Ku Klux Klan propaganda and a KKK business card, according to police, who report about 40 similar bags were found in a four-block radius–just in time for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The original call to Santa Ana Police came from the 2600 block of North Linwood Street in Santa Ana, where the bags are believed to have been distributed some time after dark on Sunday.

“No specific threat was noted on the business card and no crime can be established at this point,” police say. “Officers have collected numerous bags and there will be an investigation.”
