In continuing with this issue's emphasis on the larger things in life (see monster trucks, the ‘Big!' exhibit at OCCCA, etc.), we set our sights on the Nile River, arguably the longest river on the planet (though some Amazon fans dispute this). The screening of Mysteries of the Nile at the Bowers Museum aims to solve some of the mysteries of this great river, such as what it's been used for throughout history, who depended on the Nile for survival and, most important, what the hell is it that's nibbling on your toe while you swim in it-and should you be concerned?
