It’s been three years since a group of Orange County DIY fanatics started the OC Mini Maker Faire, and man, how it’s grown. What started off as the little fest that could, taking up a chunk of the outdoor space in UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts (and the interior of a few buildings) has now outgrown Claire Trevor, moving to Irvine Valley College. And it’s easy to see why. The Mini Maker Faire is that perfect combination of cool, weird and awesome that’s safe for kids but interesting for pretty much any adult. You can check out their wearables demos, 3D-printing, robots, contraptions galore, steampunk, and basically everything you've ever dreamt of building, because they’re all makers, and well, they made it.
