Edinburgh anarcho-punk band Oi Polloi are the kind of people who plant baby trees on tour to offset the carbon they’re burning, and then get on stage that night to bellow through hardcore antifascist songs like “Nazi Scum” and “Hunt the Rich.” (Plus they sing in Gaelic to make sure the language doesn’t go extinct—respect.) This is political punk just bristling with spikes—fast, loud, raw and limitlessly pissed—from a band that’s been grinding against the rest of the world for something like twenty years now, and they’ve only gotten tougher from the struggle. And this is also their first US tour, so we hope you come ready to vent a young lifetime full of frustration.
