Grab your hoopandstick and hop on that newfangled automobile contraption because it’s time for the annual Old Time
Christmas Festival! Experience what a real 19th century California Christmas felt like while learning more about one of
the area’s oldest homes, the Rancho’s 1840 twostory adobe. All dolled up in her holiday finest, the home features
choral singers and costumed volunteers in authentic Victorian outfits (sorry, female volunteers). Why, you’ll start craving
pudding and goose in no time! The children (better seen than heard) are also entertained by a piñata, storytelling,
period crafts and a visit with Santa Claus—the very same Santa Claus that was alive during the 1840s! Come a
wassailing to Rancho Los Cerritos and build memories to last a lifetime, along with a new found respect for modern
undergarments.
