This year's Best of OC cover was created by Berlin-New York design collective eBay — wait, that's eBoy. eBay — damnit! — eBoy is the team of Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital, plus Kai Vermehr, in Germany; and in New York, Peter Stemmler. They make art from pixels — the tiniest part of a digital image/measure of wealth at Circuit City. Their inspirations include Legos, TV, shopping, supermarkets and Apple II/Commodore 64/video games.
