Yesterday was all about the business, according to Scoops N Scoops co-owner Tauseef Razaque. Today we shift our focus to learn what makes him tick.

How did you all meet?
Abdullah and I are actually related; he is my brother-in-law, and Adam has been Abdullah's best friend since childhood.

Last movie watched; how was it?
Whiplash – It was very inspiring to see how much passion and drive the kid had in the movie to make sure he was successful and wanted to be known as one of the greats as a goal in his life. He took on every hurdle that came his way, and he just kept going!
When you're not in the restaurant, what are you doing in your free time?
I'm usually trying new places to eat around Orange County.
Hardest lesson you've learned:
Hard work makes sure your successful, but with hard work success comes by God's will, so always try to be good to others and do the right thing and be thankful for all the blessings.
What's your favorite childhood memory?
Going to Disneyland in Paris with my family.
Do you have any skills that have nothing to do with food?
I used to be a DJ, and know how to play multiple instruments like guitar, bass and drums.

Last thing you looked up/searched online:
Just recently I got an Apple Watch, and I've been searching for different bands to wear with it to meet different outfits and occasions.
What would you be doing if you weren't in this business?
To be honest, I never thought of that. I've been doing this since I got out of college and I love it!
