You know it’s a great day when we learn that our favorite chocolate chip cookie brand in Orange County has plans to expand. And not just any expansion, but a bigger, better, multi-county one! Manager Davion Tran is spilling the flour on this game-changer.
Expansion #1: Irvine
Taking over a former Scottrade office at the corner of MacArthur and Main, they will be neighbors with Flippin’ Pizza. Per Tran,
At 1,600 square feet, Irvine is going to be our flagship store and will have seating arrangements for guests to be able to enjoy pastries with their friends and family at the bakery. One major change for the new locations is malasadas will not be on the menu. They will still be available and unique to the Fountain Valley location. In place of the malasadas, we’ll be introducing new pastries (including more savory options), expanding our cookie line, and [offering] a more extensive coffee menu that will go perfect with our pastries.
The future Irvine storefront is located at 17935 MacArthur Boulevard. Opening slated for early 2020.
Expansion #2: Santa Monica
LA county has reason to smile, as Paderia is crossing county lines to build the third location. Coming to a new retail development at the corner of Wilshire and Berkeley, Tran also divulged that the center will also house its own food hall, landing several other modern concepts to the area. They will occupy 910 square feet of delicious flavor. “We are very excited with the new locations in the works, and our goal is to elevate the experience for our guests.” We are very excited as well, Davion.
Their Santa Monica storefront will be at 3032 Wilshire Boulevard. Completion is currently slated for the end of the year. Our interview with them from when they first launched in 2017 can be found here.
