A new restaurant has opened in the space that formerly held Bliss 525 in Long Beach. In looking at the menu, Padre Latin Table & Cocktail does elote, aguachiles, and chicharrones that's house made and “dusted with cheddar beer powder”.

And there are at least 5 kinds of tacos–everything from fried chicken with avocado mousse and watermelon, to a grilled octopus with black garlic salsa. For main courses, there's slow roasted pork belly and a hamburguesa.
The cook is Frank De Loach, who used to be at Tavern on 2 and Early Bird.
