Pigeon Party

Some things are just so damn cute, we don’t really care if they’re supposed to be for children. Take Pigeon Party for example, the United Kingdom’s juvenile frolic currently on tour in the U.S. Written by Mo Willem, this theatrical event combines the first three books in the author’s Pigeon series and includes such compelling storylines as the precocious bird tries to drive a bus, stay up past his bedtime, and whether or not he should share the hot dog that he found (which, in real life, would be disgusting but here it’s adorable). With saucer-eyed birdies, original music and a little audience participation, Pigeon Party is one of those entities that’s so sweet it’s near gag-inducing.
