Ryan Carson's 'Pri-vē pop up at Playground 2.0 has announced they will do a 17-course dinner with 6 drink intermezzos September 14 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. The cost will be $165, which will already include the tax, tip, and booze.
No, that isn't a typo. That's 17 courses. As in a course for every year you live before you get to vote.
]
To put that into perspective, the French Laundry usually offers 9 courses for $270; Alinea in Chicago offers 19 for $195. Carson and crew are certainly trying to top their the last pop up, which occurred this past weekend. That one featured only 10 courses and included a course of something titled “P.uck fE.T.A”, which is not only a thinly veiled dig at a certain animal rights group, but also contained peaches, buttermilk cream, black olives, English muffin, honey comb, and basil.
The menu has yet to be announced, but if you're interested, you'll need to secure your reservations by emailing rh***@pl************.com. Include your name, party size, reservation date and your phone number.
