[Updated with new ticket information at the bottom of this post.]
Fresh off a widely praised, nearly three-hour set at South-by-Southwest, rumors are running rampant that the Purple One, yes Prince, will be playing a string of shows on the West Coast, including two at the City National Bank Grove of Anaheim on May 7 and 8.
According to The Scenestar, which gets its info from a Prince Spreecast with Seth Everett and Dr. Funkenberry, 3rd Eye Girl have announced West Coast dates as openers for the man formerly known as a symbol.
Like with most things, nothing is official until it's official, but that doesn't mean we can't get excited for Prince's first shows in OC in nine years, back when the Honda Center was called The Pond.
