A dead bat was found at Laguna Niguel Regional Park on Saturday.
County health officials tested the bat and confirmed it had rabies, which means they are now looking for people or animals who may have come in contact with it.
It also means I have another excuse to break out Bat Boy.

The Orange County Health Care Agency does not want to miss anyone who came into contact with the rabid bat because though rabies is easily curable when treated early, it can result in death if left untreated.
But if you came into contact with Bat Boy, you're on your own.
