In 2012, one-man artist Andre Allen Anjos released Chapter One under his stage name RAC (short for “Remix Artist Collective”), which consisted of remixes of indie songs (like Phoenix’s “Armistice” and Lana Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans”). In 2014, he took a step away from remixing other people's music and instead produced seven original songs for Strangers, his latest album. If one thing hasn’t changed from Chapter One, it's RAC’s collaborative nature: artists like Tegan and Sara and Pink Feathers are featured in tracks for Strangers, for instance. Plus, RAC's use of analog synthesizers and melodic hooks are also as present as before (warning: hooks are likely to get stuck in your head.).
