Our friends at Tackle Box in Corona del Mar have some very special guests shacking up with them. The Original Ramen Burger crew will set up temporary shop from March 5 through May 1 out of the ‘South window’ (a.k.a. the side that sells ice cream and nachos during summer months). A weekend-only menu, they’ve got other projects to focus on— like setting up their future Santa Ana brick-and-mortar!
Expect a focused menu of their original, spicy and veggie burgers. And, of course, those Shaka Shaka fries. Per Tackle Box Chef Brian Huskey, “As part of bringing more awareness and attention down to coastal OC (more specifically Corona del Mar), Ramen Burger pop-up is the first of hopefully many other concepts to do pop-ups in Tackle Box South window in the future during slow season, in order to continue to draw attention to the beach that there is awesome, affordable food.” You tell ’em, Brian.
We anticipate a Ramen Burger/Tackle Box collaboration item in the works, but let’s give our guests some time to get their sea legs. Their lunch service is on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you’re more in a breakfast mood, remember that Tackle Box also serves a mean burrito and chilaquiles until 11 a.m.!
