What do you get when you mix Stuff White People Like sensibilities with hip-hop? The answer comes in the form of a hilarious new clothing line! Rap Shirts for White People puts a twist on famous lyrics while having fun at the expense of the world of whiteness. Can we all really picture Method Man's raspy voice declaring “Cats Rule Everything Around Me?” or Biggie saying “It was all a dream, I used to read Highlights magazine?” (Although we'd say the Kelis spoof 'My Self-Respect Brings All the Boys to the Yard,” is a rap shirt for all women, not just whites).
Proceeds from satirical shirts started by Tim Blount go to related charities. They've caught the eye of The Source and HipHopDX. The Whole-Foods Clan shirts are already out of order! But the sampling below are just a few that are still game.

The great posthumously released rap song from Tupac Shakur pondered if heaven had a ghetto. Rap Shirts for White People wonders if there's a Costco in the mysterious hereafter. Whatever one's religious contemplation, all proceeds go to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
Drake's song detailing a rapper's rise from everyday hustling as a nobody to hip-hop mega riches is interesting. The shirt above? A poke at white privilege. Sales from the tee go to Toronto's Dixon Hall.
When Jay-Z and Kanye West dropped “Niggas in Paris” and did their marathon performances of the song at shows supporting Watch The Throne, it seemed like some white music writers tripped over themselves to write the word 'nigga' 20 times with apparent cover. Now with that madness over, 'Ball So Hard, My Dad's Company Wanna Hire Me' is a funny quip on Jay-Z's refrain. Profits on this one go to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund.

NWA, as the world's most dangerous group, gave the world law enforcement's least favorite anthem. “Fuck Tha Police,” morphs into “Fund Tha Police,” apparel fitting for when the po-po want to stack council chambers in style while asking for a lion's share of city money. And who get's a check cut from these shirts? The American Civil Liberties Union! Well, locally they've been critical of gang injunctions and are pro-police oversight!
Maybe this rendering of Kendrick Lamar's “Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe,” is just right for a concept album titled good kid, bl.A.A.nd city. Spilling that wine can kill a vibe though, especially if it's red and stains. Lord, forgive me! Money from shirt sales goes to the Centennial High School music department where K dot went to school.
