We interrupt your weekly punk show to bring you a special message from Red Guerrilla Funhouse, a new comedy event happening at the Doll Hut tonight. Although this show is not totally devoid of music— bands Pee Wee Herman Cholos and Bootlegs of the Untitled Band will perform, the latter of which deliver such heartwarming tunes such as “I Can't Buy Your Love, But I Can Buy Happy Meals.” But as for the comedians, award-winning Long Beach comic Keith Carey, Connor McSpadden, and Nick Petrillo are among some of the names on the bill, all of whom are serious, semi-well-known comic entertainers, here to bring the house down with their depraved, irreverent jokes. And for those carrying the gleam of performing stand up in their eyes, an open mic session follows right after the scheduled acts, giving you a chance at the spotlight.
