Eliot wrote that April is the cruelest month, but it's like other months in the coming and goings of restaurants. We saw a few entrants debut and old standbys exit. Some restaurants didn't close so much as they continued with a new name and new ownership. But also we witnessed with sadness an old Taiwanese stalwart finally biting the dust just this past weekend.
Here, we list just a few of restaurants open and shut cases we observed, compiled for our monthly round-up.
