If you were anywhere near South Coast Plaza last month, you already know that the biggest restaurant opening in OC has three words and an insane wait time: Din Tai Fung.
But if you're the kind of person who doesn't care for their xiaolongbaos (or are perhaps unaware what a xiaolongbao is and why Din Tai Fung is a big deal), then perhaps you'll say that the big restaurant opening this month is Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in Anaheim, just blocks away from Disneyland.
Either way, you're right.
However, if you don't know why these two restaurants are newsworthy, keep reading this blog in the coming weeks: we'll tell you. This post is just a roundup of the open-and-shut cases we wrote about this month.
