Balls. Big giant ones. That's what the people behind Bon Epi Patisserie N Cafe must possess for opening their store in the same plaza, nay, the same parking lot as the 85°C Bakery juggernaut, which to this day draws more crowds than a Depression-era bread line.
But I suppose where there is cake, there is always a way.
I can't find a trace of information about them online. And at the moment there is only the sign and blacked out windows.
If I put my MBA hat on, I would have to say that they'd need something to differentiate them from 85°C to compete. And although I can't think of what that would be, obviously they must know, because otherwise they wouldn't have the balls.
