In Hollywood, when you've got a hit on your hands, you develop a sequel. And In OC, when your first ever OC Restaurant Week helped to spur business in a down economy, you do the same. Following the Hollywood playbook (except within the same year), the second coming of OC Restaurant Week is slated for September 13-19.
The same deals abound (3 course N 3 item specialty menus set at $10/$15/$20 for lunches, and $20/$30/$40 dinners). So far restaurants are in the sign up stage, but I'd expect the same roster as last time, and perhaps a few more bandwagoners. Suffice it to say, I'll be looking forward to this more than I am Paul Blart 2.
