New Zealand is well-known for two things: sheep and comedians. As the home to the stars of HBO’s hit series Flight of the Conchords, New Zealand is constantly referenced to and lovingly poked fun at by the cast. Especially Rhys Darby, who plays the Conchords’ band manager, Murray, and is arguably one of the country’s funniest exports. Known around the standup scene for his active routines that often include elaborate sound effects and mime, Darby’s comedy will have you engaged and tickled and just enamored with the sheep-flocked country.
