Cerritos College Police Chief Richard “Buk'' Bukowiecki Takes Own Life in Local Motel
The 47-year-old Huntington Beach resident started as a part-time dispatcher with the Cerritos College police department in 1988. He was described as “an inspiration” to the campus community when he received the Outstanding Classified Manager of 2012 award.
The memorial service begins at 1 p.m. Sept. 13 in the college's Student Center.
