The circus is back in town—which means so are the contortionists, acrobats, tigers, elephants, at least one naked PETA protestor, and lots and lots of clowns. Celebrating what would’ve been creator P.T. Barnum’s 200th birthday, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus brings us Funundrum, a whole new display of high-flying, death defying acts and you-won’t-believe-your-eyes performances, attempting to answer the Funundrum question: “What special wonders create the Greatest Show on Earth?” With 100-plus years in the business, you can guarantee that whatever wonders unfold under the Honda Center roof this week, the circus is still some of the best family entertainment ever.
Mondays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 1:30 & 5:30 p.m. Starts: July 28. Continues through Aug. 8, 2010
