Love him, hate him, feel sexually confused by him, Russell Brand is the embodiment of a modern comedy superstar: obnoxious, neurotic, completely offensive and somehow able to look good wearing painted-on leather pants. But after surviving a childhood rife with tragedy, overcoming heroin addiction, and pissing off authorities at nearly every school he attended and company he worked for, Brand's comedy shot him to stardom in the UK. Eventually, the States came knocking (we love a good train wreck) and he secured reoccurring gigs hosting various MTV award shows as well as major roles in some mediocre blockbusters (except Forgetting Sarah Marshall, that movie was awesome). Catch his “I am a Walrus” tour as he stops by Anaheim before heading off to Australia and New Zealand. But it's not the last you'll hear of Brand—he's got about a dozen film projects in the works. Sometimes naughty is far more lucrative than nice.
