The nonprofit arts organization Nouveau Chamber Ballet not only brings elaborate, tightly choreographed dance performances to audiences across the country, but also dedicates themselves to upholding the centuries-old art of ballet and support aspiring local dancers including school children. For this special performance, the company took inspiration from Russia—more specifically, it's timeless ballet companies and great orchestras. Nouveau Chamber Ballet is pleased to present Russian Folk Dances, a collection of traditional Russian ballet directed by Lois Ellyn paired with classical music performed by the Camerata Solisti chamber orchestra.
