Go check out “Buffalo Chart—My Symbolic Chronicle of the American Story”at Chapman. What do they say about it? It's “Bernard Williams' epic collection of cut-out wooden symbols and freestanding sculptures, which speak about American history and culture.” Have I seen it? No. Is it open on Mondays? Yes. Have you been a little disappointed with the Red Cross' performance in the Gulf? Me too. I know they couldn't go into New Orleans proper because the gubmint asked them not to, but their shelters around the South have been looking a bit fubar too. That's why I heartily second our boy Jim Washburn's choice for charity largesse in I Ain't Got No Home, a Hurricane Katrina ReliefShow:it's benefiting Habitat for Humanity. The event raises money through donations and a portion of the food sales, and Washburn will be spinning New Orleans' storied sound from his ridiculously extensive collection. Hey, it's the Haunted Fullerton Walking Tour!You know where I've taken a haunted walking tour? New Orleans. I wonder if it'll be more haunted now.
