On birthdays, we eat cake. Thanksgiving, we have turkey. And everyone knows that Halloween is for candy and Valentine’s Day is for chocolate. But Saint Patrick’s Day has every other holiday dining ritual beat. We drink beer, green beer, and lots of it. Because Saint Patrick is the patron saint of beer and shamrocks or something along those lines. In that spirit, Hima and Hope, two girls with hearts of gold, organized a Shamrock Pub Crawl down Huntington Beach’s Main Street the day before St. Patty's to help folks imbibe the afternoon away while aiding the fight against Lukemia and Lymphoma (proceeds benefit charities). So, this St. Patrick's Day, get drunk and fight cancer, not each other. Participants get tank tops and a healthy buzz thanks to drink specials hosted at participating locations.
