Tired of sitting with your annoying friends doing boring things every Friday night? Try adding some spice to the ol' lineup with Shark Lagoon Nights at the Aquarium of the Pacific. You can visit with Bamboo Sharks, have a cocktail with a Sand Tiger Shark and free-style with some Manta Rays, all while learning about nature’s ultimate sea predators. This free-to-the-public sharktacular will have you wishing you could sharpen your chompers as you dine on the desserts, coffee, hot cocoa, beer, wine, and snacks available for purchase; and whistle the Jaws theme as live music from differing local bands serenade you into the evening hours. Some Fridays are excluded so please check the website for availability—and remember, it’s considered poor taste to throw people to the sharks. Even if they’re irritating.
Fridays, 6 p.m. Starts: Nov. 7. Continues through Dec. 26, 2014
