Musicians ages 5-17 submitted videos of their bands in order to compete in “Rock It OC!”—judges then selected four finalists (McKenzie Brandon, ONE11, Hannah Blower and Blackhawks) to perform live at South Coast Plaza on July 17, 2011. The contest was judged by AJ and Jeremy Popoff of iconic band LIT, 104.3FM's on-air DJ Lisa Foxx, and OC Music Awards Producer, Luke Allen. ONE11 walked away as the winners of “Rock It OC!” and will receive sponsored production of a music video and professional recording for one song. Murphy Karges, Sugar Ray bassist, will also coach the band through their video production and recording process. All images by Andrew Youssef.
