Fans and celebrities alike flocked to Downtown LA’s STAPLES Center on Saturday (August 4, 2018) to watch TJ Dillashaw and Demetrious Johnson defend their titles. In the end, Dillashaw proved once again that the Bantamweight belt belongs in his hands alone, while Henry Cejudo became the new Flyweight champion, surprising and delighting those who expected an easy win from Johnson. Dillashaw and Cejudo weren’t the only local natives to win big though, as the evening’s roster was flush full of up-and-comers who secured victories through knockouts and unanimous decisions. OC Weekly was there to catch every jab, head-kick and choke as it happened.
