You know how we said that Pieology has plans to rapidly expand yesterday? Well, so does Spin Pizza, a similiar concept that's already big in Kansas City and has franchise dreams of its own. And it starts in OC–Orange, to be exact, its inaugural store in California.

The restaurant, which does customizable pies in the same manner as Pieology, 800 Degrees, Blaze, etc., etc., has opened at Orange's Stadium Promenade (1623 W. Katella). The local franchisee is none other than Craig Hofman of Hof's Hut and Lucille's Smokehouse fame, and there's word he's planning on about 35 more.
Another is slated to open in Los Alamitos in the winter. Let the pizza-pie fight begin!
