While we're overjoyed at the prospect of a whole new generation of trekkies fueled by the blockbuster special effects bender of J.J. Abrams' movies, nothing—nothing—beats OG Trek. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the apex of not only the Star Trek franchise but much of the science fiction genre in general. Undoubtedly the greatest Trek film ever made, the 1982 classic follows Kirk and Spock and the rest of the Enterprise crew as they battle the evil, genetically-engineered Khan who escaped from exile. Sure, fangirl obsession Benedict Cumberbatch did a decent job as Khan, but there's just no human being alive to top Ricardo Montalbán. Wrath of Khan plays one night only for Classic Film Night. Young'uns about to be schooled. Shatner and Nimoy forever.
