This weekend, Detroit Bar hosts a late night nesting of space pop whimsy starring UK imports Stereo Lab and 4AD label mate Atlas Sound. The band's formation in 1990 has produced a string of underground gems that continue to tug at the imagination synth keyboard enthusiasts all over the world. Still at the helm are principle songwriters Timothy Gane and Laetitia Sadier, who's dreamy song writing has been at the forefront of “post rock” genre.
With added support from Atlas Sound, the brain child of Bradford Cox, the night should go down smooth like a glass of red wine, or a shot of whiskey…whatever gets your motor going.
