The founders of Stone Brewing Co., Greg Koch and Steve Wagner, have written a book on how they built SoCal's biggest and arguably best-known craft brewery. The Craft of Stone Brewing Co. reveals the 15-year history of the Escondido-based brewer and includes recipes for Stone beers (12th Anniversary Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout!) and Stone-infused dishes (Arrogant Bastard Ale Onion Rings!) to make at home.
This Thursday, Nov. 17, Koch and Wagner, along with the book's
co-author, Randy Clemens (who penned The Sriracha Cookbook), will be making a stop at the Bruery Provisions to sign copies of the new release and share some rare Stone beers.

The exact list is still being worked out, but 10 Stone beers will be on tap. Two different flights with paired cheese plates will also be available. Four different bottles of archived Stone beer will be sold at limited release.
The event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Koch will be speaking. This is a rare OC appearance by a rock star of the craft-beer kingdom!
