Local boy Evan Cassidy began his comedy career by crashing UC Irvine dorm parties and making students laugh as he pretended to be a guitar-playing Frenchman. He then advanced to a more mainstream venue by producing and starring in the sketch web series Dudely Jones Comedy Tribe, all the while pursuing comedy full time. Now he’s graduated to his own stand up show at the Brea Improv. They grow up so fast! Straight Fudgin’ Comedy features Cassidy performing his long-crafted and (hopefully) perfected original stand up act to the community that watched him grow and supported him along the way. Cassidy regularly hosts comedy shows at Starlight Theatre (Costa Mesa), Anchor Bar (Costa Mesa) and Boscoes (Lake Forest), but tonight you can catch him at OC’s house of comedy, the Brea Improv.
