Surprise, Surprise: Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli Plead Not Guilty in Beating Death of Kelly Thomas

Manuel Ramos
and Jay Cicinelli, the two officers charged in the beating death of unarmed Fullerton homeless man Kelly Thomas, entered pleas of not guilty at arraignment today. Ramos is charged with second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter while Cicinelli is charged with involuntary manslaughter and use of excessive force. Both faced a preliminary hearing in May when Judge Walter Schwarm ruled there was enough evidence for the two to stand trial
]

Today they were ordered to return to court on July 27 for a
scheduling hearing. Ramos, it was reported this week, officially left
the Fullerton police department, though the department wouldn't disclose
whether he resigned or was fired. Cicinelli remains on unpaid
administrative leave.

  1. Coward sobs. And cowardly jury. The whole system is rigged against common-folk. These thugs.. Ramos, Cicinelli and Wolfe should burn. 25 to life in prison w/o parole. Either that or hanged by the neck until dead. Then, theres the other three pigs in this ordeal. Who are dey? Bring them to justice. I’m sick of the double-standard citizens vs cops. Badges don’t grant extra rights (or do they?).
