As Los Angeles-based TeamSupreme is set to invade The Observatory, it’s hard not to marvel at the work it has done since its inception. The self-proclaimed exciting beat experiment has become a movement. A select producer picks two samples and a BPM, sends it to producer colleagues, and take it from there. The project has become very popular, and the live shows very well received. Over the past three years, TeamSupreme has graduated to taking on their show on the road proving not only that there’s a market for the interesting format, but that the underground principles that it was founded on are making their way to a wider audience. Appearing are popular producer/DJs like Mr. Carmack, Djemba Djemba, Great Dane and Penthouse among others.
